I was going thru some old boxes a few wks. Ago,came across a few poems i had written when i was a teenager. Here's one i wrote for my best friend Chris Tippin this is for him in his lovin memory.......Did you ever love someone &think they didn't love you? Have you ever felt like cryin, yet what good would it do. Have you ever looked in their eyes &said a little prayer?have you ever tried lookin deep within their heart & wish you were there?or whisper "god i love him so,yet will he ever see just how much he means to me" ever wonder where he was,who he was with or why. Wishing it were you instead of her. Don't ever fall in love my friend,You'll find it doesn't pay. Tho it causes broken hearts, it happens everyday. Don't fall in love for You'll be hurt before it's thru. I oughta know,...for i fell in love with you!

It's funny how history has it's way of repeating itself. Even in ways unimaginable, regardless of our many attempts to avoid it, prevention seems inevitable. Those who claim to be men wind up bein boys, those who've been marked as bein boys turn out to be men. What about the times of trials and tribulation? One may see those who have been constituted as ones friends turn out as bein foes. Those once considered as bein foes,.... Turn out as bein the friends. Suicide is considered as "the easy way out" only those who lack guts, to face life and it's many tribulations, take that route. Yet what about alcoholics? Aren't they somewhat doin the same? Takin an easy way out. Tryin to find a temporary solution for any type of tribulation. Tryin to distande themselves from reality in hopes of finding obliviation at the end of the next barrel.

Somethin 2 think about...... Is it more shamefull 4 a woman 2 love a man or for a man to love a woman? I think there's nothing 2 be shamefull about when it comes to love. Except for when one individual loves another greatly yet that love is not shared nor returned. To love and not be loved. Then perhaps that love could be constituted as bein a shamefull one. Is one a mere fool to prefer the company of ones self ravishily seekin the bottom of the captain's barrel vs. The companionship of an exquisitely fine laden? Would the laden be constituted as a mere fool?, or just shamelessly in love? Or perhaps both,...... A fool shamelessly in love.
